Stopped in for a solo lunch while in town for CES. Service was fantastic, Cisco was very attentive and polite. The food, Barbacoa tacos were amazing, as were the side of rice and beans. One of the rare times in my dining experience that I didn't deconstruct/reconstruct tacos to make portion / distribution to my preference. Ambience is pretty cool, would be nice at night too or for enjoying the outdoor deck space.

The food was tasty and the service was five stars. The chicken was cooked to perfection and very juicy. I will not hesitate to come here for any special occasion. FYI, there is a bathroom attendant.

Visited this place 5 times during my last visit. It's definitely the best late night spot, and even better is the fact it's 24hr, with all high quality ingredients. No seed oils here either! My favorite item was the steak fajitas. Although a bit inconsistent, the worst times were still a solid 7.5/10, but my last visit was a 10/10. So much flavor, steak perfectly cooked and seasoned, every veggie soaked in flav. And like I said before, no seed oils and high quality ingredients makes this place something special! The cucumber margarita is also amazing

El Dorado Cantina is a gem in Las Vegas, offering fantastic Mexican food and exceptional service. Our waiter, Ivan, was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the table-side chips and guacamole, which were fresh and delicious, and the chicken fajitas, which were perfectly seasoned and sizzling. The sangria pitcher is a must-try--fruity, refreshing, and perfect for sharing. As a special touch, we received a complimentary flan dessert for a birthday celebration, and it was the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. Don't let the location (next to a strip club) deter you--this place is a true find and worth a visit. Loved the comfortable booth seating that we lucked out with. We'll definitely be coming back for more!

Last year, during a whirlwind weekend in Vegas, I stumbled upon El Dorado Cantina on the Strip. Fast forward to this year, and I couldn't resist making a return trip to see if it lived up to the golden memories I had tucked away. Spoiler alert: It didn't just live up to them--it surpassed them. El Dorado Cantina proved once again that it's not just a restaurant; it's a destination. Ambiance: Warm and Inviting with a Side of Las Vegas Flair Walking into El Dorado Cantina feels like stepping into a vibrant Mexican hacienda with just the right amount of Vegas energy. The rich, colorful decor strikes a perfect balance between traditional Mexican design and modern elegance, creating a cozy yet lively atmosphere. Both times I visited, the vibe was on point: festive but not overbearing, with a buzz of happy diners enjoying their meals. The outdoor seating area is a bonus, especially if you want to take in some Vegas people-watching while enjoying your meal. Inside, the dim lighting and rustic accents provide a touch of intimacy--a rarity in the heart of the Strip. The Food: A Love Letter to Authentic Mexican Cuisine Let's talk about the food, the true star of the show. Both last year and this year, El Dorado Cantina delivered flavors that left me speechless. Their commitment to organic, non-GMO ingredients is evident in every bite, and the freshness shines through. Appetizers: I can't sing enough praises for their Tableside Guacamole. Watching it prepared fresh in front of you is a treat, but the taste? Absolute perfection. Creamy, zesty, and paired with warm, lightly salted tortilla chips, it's the kind of guacamole that spoils you for all others. Entrees: Last year, I fell in love with the Carnitas Tacos. Juicy, tender pork with just the right amount of crisp on the edges, topped with onions and cilantro--it was everything you want in a taco. This year, I decided to branch out and tried the Chile Relleno. Let me just say, it was a flavor bomb. The roasted poblano pepper stuffed with gooey cheese and topped with a rich tomato sauce had me savoring every single bite. Of course, the Carne Asada Plate deserves its own standing ovation. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, it's a must-try for any steak lover. Paired with their fragrant rice and refried beans, it's a meal that satisfies on every level. Drinks: Their cocktail game is no joke. The Spicy Margarita is a masterpiece--refreshing, tangy, with just the right kick of heat to keep things interesting. If spice isn't your thing, their Classic Paloma is equally delightful, with a bright citrusy zing that pairs beautifully with the food. Service: Impeccable and Personable One of the things that stood out to me during both visits was the service. The staff here is top-notch: attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food they're serving. Last year, our server patiently walked us through the menu, making spot-on recommendations. This year was no different--our waiter checked in regularly without being intrusive and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The tableside guacamole preparation was a fun touch that added a personal element to the experience, and the staff's warmth made us feel right at home. What Sets It Apart: Quality, Consistency, and Heart What I love most about El Dorado Cantina is its consistency. From last year to this year, the quality of the food and the experience remained stellar. This isn't your average Strip restaurant churning out food for the masses. It's a place where every dish feels crafted with care, where the ingredients are as important as the flavors, and where you leave feeling like you've had more than just a meal--you've had an experience. Final Thoughts: Viva El Dorado Cantina! If you're in Vegas and looking for Mexican food that goes beyond expectations, El Dorado Cantina is the place to be. It's not just about filling your stomach; it's about indulging your senses and soaking up a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a little slice of Mexico in the heart of Sin City. Would I go back a third time? Absolutely. And I already know what I'm ordering: guacamole, tacos, and a Spicy Margarita, please. El Dorado Cantina, thank you for being a constant in a city that's always changing. You've got a loyal fan for life. Rating: (but honestly, it feels like a five in my heart).

Another great dining experience at El Dorado! The atmosphere is great for both dinner meetings and casual dining. Time and time again - the service is great which keeps me coming back. They are friendly, prompt, and they are great with suggestions. To start, we had chips and salsa with guacamole. Everything was tasty - plenty of dip and plenty of chips. Birria Tacos - The consome was delicious - nice and hot dip for the very tasty birria tacos. The dish comes with two tacos and I always add rice and beans. The portion is good and there was a lot of meat in the tacos. Al Pastor Tacos - plenty of pineapple! Three tacos come on a plate and it's delicious. Carne Asada Burrito - Another solid choice and good size! You may or may not need the rice and beans!

One of the locations by Sapphire. Make sure to park by the main street as the more inside parking spots are meant for the Sapphire customers Pros - amazing table-side guacamole. It is pricey but absolutely worth it. The side guac is cheaper but not nearly as good. Very good tacos and flan. Their drink options are fantastic and delicious. Great service as well. Cons - none Great place for tacos and drinks. Dont skip the gaucamole!
